Requirement
To build a new commercial leadership team for the club, in order to increase commercial revenue, partnership agreements, hospitality sales, new revenue lines and take partnership activation to exceptional levels of creativity and delivery.
It was imperative to find the right culture fit in addition to the relevant skills and aptitudes to best position the commercial and marketing department for the future.
Process
Comprehensive identification and approaches to candidates from within our target list of sports rights holders, agencies and best in class candidates from brands, using a research-led approach, insight and direct, but discreet style of approach.
Working closely with the club and ensuring their values and culture were always front of mind, we engaged with key candidates, answering their questions and taking them through a probing competency based interview, specific to the position.
This was followed by a long list meeting with our client to discuss the merits of each candidate's strengths and any areas for development. Discussion of the aspirations and cultural fit of the candidate.
